Terms of Use - Light & Mirrors: Akari Puzzle

Effective date: October 6, 2026. These terms are between you and Boris Balasanyan, an individual entrepreneur in Armenia ("the Developer", "we"), and apply to the Light & Mirrors: Akari Puzzle mobile game for Android and iOS ("the App"). By installing or using the App you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Licence

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the App on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial entertainment. The App is licensed, not sold. We keep all rights in the App, its levels, art, music and code. You may not copy, sell, rent, reverse-engineer, decompile or extract content from the App, except where the law gives you that right regardless of this clause. Your use of the App is also subject to the terms of the store you got it from (Google Play or the Apple App Store); if you got the App from the App Store, section 12 also applies.

2. Virtual currency and items

The App has two in-game currencies: Light, which you earn by playing, and Moonstones, which you can earn by playing or buy in the store. It also has virtual items such as cosmetics (beam colours, board themes, frames, decorations), boosters, and places on the in-game coastline map.

3. Payments and refunds

4. Subscription: Keeper's Club

Keeper's Club is an optional auto-renewing subscription that gives you extra in-game benefits, listed in the App on the subscription screen before you subscribe. It never solves puzzles for you; members get one extra free hint per level, and a hint still reveals only one correct bulb.

5. Season pass

The App runs time-limited seasons (currently about four weeks) with a pass that has a free track and an optional premium track. The premium track is a one-time purchase for that season, at the price shown in the store, and gives the rewards listed in the App. Rewards are earned by playing during the season. Rewards you have not claimed when the season ends may no longer be available. A season pass is not a subscription and does not renew. Refunds follow section 3.

6. Accounts, cloud save, leaderboards and share codes

You can use the App as a guest. If you sign in with Google Play Games (Android) or Apple Game Center (iOS), your progress can be saved in your Play Games or iCloud account and your Daily Challenge score can appear on the platform leaderboard. You are responsible for your platform account. Leaderboards show your display name and score to other players; do not choose a name that is offensive, impersonates someone or contains personal information. Share codes let you send a puzzle or challenge to a friend; do not use them to share unlawful or abusive content. We may remove names, scores or codes that break these terms.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

If you do, we may remove the affected currency, items, scores or progress; for refunded, charged-back or fraudulent purchases we may revoke the items bought; and we may suspend or end your access. Where we reasonably can, we will tell you why.

8. Changes to the App and these terms

We update the App from time to time: we may add, change or remove features, content, offers and prices. We may change these terms, for example when we add features or when the law changes. The current version is always at this address with its effective date. Material changes will be announced in the App or in the update notes before they take effect. If you keep using the App after the effective date you accept the new terms; if you do not accept them, stop using the App and cancel any subscription. A change never reduces what you have already paid for in the current subscription period.

9. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it; remember to cancel any subscription in the store. We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, or if we discontinue the App. Sections that by their nature should survive (such as disclaimers, liability and governing law) survive termination.

10. Disclaimers

The App is provided "as is" and "as available". As far as the law allows, we make no promise that the App will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that saved data (including cloud saves and purchases) will never be lost. Online features may be unavailable at times; the core puzzle game works offline. Nothing in this section affects your statutory rights as a consumer, including the right to digital content that conforms to its description.

11. Limitation of liability

As far as the law allows, the Developer is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits or lost data arising from your use of the App, and our total liability for any claim relating to the App is limited to the amount you paid through the stores for the App in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (for example for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for intentional misconduct), and nothing limits your mandatory rights as a consumer.

12. Apple App Store

If you downloaded the App from the Apple App Store, the following also applies. These terms are between you and the Developer only, not Apple, and the Developer, not Apple, is solely responsible for the App and its content. Your licence is limited to use on Apple-branded devices you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App. If the App fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price of the App (if any); to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation for the App. The Developer, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims by you or a third party relating to the App, including product liability claims, claims that the App fails to meet legal or regulatory requirements, consumer protection, privacy and similar claims, and any claim that the App infringes a third party's intellectual property rights. You confirm that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and, once you accept them, may enforce them against you. Where these terms do not cover something, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Armenia. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer-protection laws of the country where you live, and you may bring a claim in the courts of that country where those laws give you that right. Otherwise, the courts of Armenia have jurisdiction. Please contact us first; most problems can be solved by e-mail.

14. Privacy

How we handle personal data, and how to ask us to delete it, is described in our Privacy Policy.
